I bought myself a box of crayons...exciting, I know.
The purpose of the box of crayons is photo inspiration.
Great idea...but not mine.
Each week one crayon is drawn from the box
as an inspiration for your photos.
And this week just happens to be Robin's Egg Blue.
How cool is that!
A perfect way for me to start...with blue!
I can't wait to see what next week's color will be.
Join in Project 64 or Midweek Blues!

Posting early so I can link with Project 64.
Midweek Blues links start Tuesday.

Love your little bunny holding the crayon! Do you use it weekly (Okay fine, I'll follow you and then go back and check!)
Great light and product shots!
Lovely idea! I like Crayola crayons. I once did a whole lesson on a box of crayons - don't know whether the children liked it, but I did!
This fun! I love how the bunny is in every shot! The bunny holding it and the one with the are are my favorite! Thanks for linking up with project64 colors!
LOVE THIS!!! What an inspiration maker...I've thought of crayons for inspiration but that's as far as it's gone...I needed a touch more - that's how my ideas go, need a boost :)
these are adorable
What a fun project. Can't wait to see all 64. I MUST finish my 100 Strangers and 100 Dogs before I start another project. I have a long way to go on both!
Lovely robins egg blue shots - especially like the glass.
Colorful idea...what vision.
Love the Robin's Egg Blue car and Bunny is the sweetest.

There is almost nothing that I love better than a fresh box of crayons. And Robin's Egg Blue is such a lovely color, how perfect.
ha! love how you used the crayon in your photos :)
hi Rebecca! i tried to copy/paste my link but the URL field doesn't allow it.

I am one of those big kids who loves a fresh box of crayons. I had not thought to use it in this way. Thank you!
You did a super job.
This is a very nice post, Rebecca. I like your colors and always had a soft spot for 'robin blue.'
Mr. Linky is acting up. I tried to get me in with my Mr. Tin Man avatar and it didn't take. I redid it and it told me I had already put one in. Something gives?
..
Hi Rebecca! It's been awhile since I linked up with Midweek Blues. I was going to link up today, but can't. I don't know why but every time I try to put in my link it changes to your link. Anyway. . . I also participated in Project 64. You did such a nice job with your photos and the color theme!
Lovely photos! The blue glass is especially stunning!
I am having problems with linking again! (I have a tried a number of times, but I get a message that my link is on the list when quite clearly my name is not there!) On my screen, the link list has just 6 names spread across the screen and 3 of them are only partly there! I am sure there should be more names!
O well! Never mind! I'll just leave a link here!

Have a great week!
Grrrr....I am so sorry about the linky acting up. If you have trouble, leave your link in a comment and I will work with it.
Unfortunately, the Linky Tools I switched from will be charging a fee to use them and since I am not an money earning blog - this is just for fun - I really can't justify adding an expense.
Please bear with me until I find something that works...hopefully I will!
Thank you for putting me on, Rebecca. :)
I saw the list when I first came but didn't read the fine print. I though it was for the other group.
Mr. Linky may have straightened up now. There haven't been any problems lately at FlashBack Fridays that I participate in.

You'll have to paste that to see Linda's Mr. Linky over at her blog.

BTW, our TV carried your Groundhog Day ceremony. I am glad Spring is about to come.
It might be earlier with our global warming problems. Then it will set new records for heat. Each summer and each winter new records will be set until either we burn or freeze.
We may have passed the point where it won't be reversible by cutting back on our emissions.
That was my editorial. I don't have a scientific timeline. But no one else does either yet.
..
Thanks too, Rebecca for asking about the contest. :) It will end after this post and I will announce on my Friday post. Also the Saturday post maybe.
But there weren't many readers from the Six Word Saturday. It has had a change over of paricipants since I had entered before.
..
The crayon idea is a great one!
Great shots! I did the same and bought my own box of crayons. My children are really mad that they are off limits for them. ;)
You photos are stunning as always! I especially liked the bunny with the crayon. Seems like a great project to draw inspiration from (pun intended :)
Ohhh, these are cute!
