Did I just die and go to heaven? Yes my heart is going pitter pat! I LOVe lavender!! I would want bunches of those lavender bouquets! I am the girl who spritzes lavender on my pillow at night. :-)

Wonderful shots. I posted a photo of that bike several months ago but I almost forgot about this place.
Fyi They do a major harvest in late June and the owner Patty will be happy to show you around. They have all sorts of interesting machines in the back. Also feel free to take pictures before they open if you want to capture the morning light.
Can you get me a summer job there?
Here on a near by idea, a teacher grew lavenders, and when it is time for harvesting, the islanders come together to cut the flowers and help her to get oil.

Peace Valley Park is one of my very favorite places in Pennsylvania! I'm often there on Sundays when the weather is good! I've never stopped at the lavender shop though. I will remedy that if the weather ever gets warm again!
