Near the Peace Valley Park
in Bucks County, PA
sits a peaceful, family owned lavender farm.
The owners are very friendly,
and even welcomed me to take photos.
Here is the drying room.
The flowers just hange to dry
the old fashioned way.
Don't you just love that?
They do all the work on the premises.
And they sell all variety of lavender products
in their quaint gift shop.
To peek inside the gift shop,

There is a lavender farm very near our house, but it won't bloom for a couple more months. I love to see the lavender field flowering, so gorgeous!
That place is really neat, I love that old barn!
I'd love to visit. Hey, Becky, your 'gallery' link in this post isn't working.
Oh can I smell that lavender field..I like the hanging to dry idea too.
Very beautiful. I love this lavender! LG Tina
Now I wished I lived close, because I would visit this! I love lavender -so fragrant.
In Holland I started drying flowers, and they hang them upside down, because then it they retain their color.
Goodmorning from Denmark.
Very interesting - I can almost feel the scent :-)
Oh yes, I like it very much - too the gift shop with old things besides soap, salts, honey etc.
Hi Rebecca ~~ You had another good outing. I have always wanted to be in a lavender field (up close) but always I have only seen them from the road.
I am wondering if you picked some yourself. What in the world would you do with them if you did pick some? I don't think they are edible.
Happy MidWeek Blues! :)
..
Love the picture. So soft and dreamlike quality. I notice that the plants are much more in bloom than the post you did last September. Does this mean lavender blooms in early summer?
what a lovely place to visit
I imagine it must smell wonderful
this place must smell like heaven!:p
I like the shot of the building behind all the flowers. Very nice :D
