On the main street, you can't miss
The Ambler Theater.
It still buzzes with activity each night.
I just love the old ornate architecture
you can find around town.
My favorite street in town...
Lindenwald Ave.
One of these gems has a 'For Sale' sign up!
And a surviving old business like
Deck's Hardware,
where you take a ticket and get personalized service!!
It is ideal when you know what you want to do,
but don't know how to do it.
I love that place!

You do live in such a nice place, especially for photographing historical landmarks. I love the photo of the hardware store. Very nice pictures as always. I never tire of seeing your posts.
Such delightful pictures and perfect for the theme. I love the 2nd one - that is beautiful.
Many years ago I drove through Ambler daily on my way to study horticulture at Temple, Ambler Campus. These photos raised happy memories. Thanks!

Such a delightful town!
That's the kind of house worth keeping. PA is one of the state I would love to visit. Happy weekend!
Thanks for the visit I do appreciate it...Kim, USA
I think they are all great shots but my favourite is the Ambler Theatre sign. I've seen that sign before and the railway station looks familiar - I like that; I am coming to know your town.
Reminds me of home. The North Atlantic region is such a wonderful place to shoot in B&W.
These photos all look very crips and clear in black and white!
The second shot is just so amazing.
you are really trying to make this week hard on me, aren;t you. each shot is just fantastic. But I love the old house with snow - I think snow scenes just yell out to be in B & W.
Love the Ambler Theater lead off picture...and the one of the re-enactor loading his gun...might even work in sepia.
