He definitely has on his spring mating clothes. Even though our weather here in Texas is much, much warmer than yours, our goldfinches also just started sporting their their spring duds within the past couple of weeks.
What a great shot--such a cute (and bright) little goldfinch. Yes, I'm anxious to shed heavy winter garb and put on some bright, light weigh clothing. Have a nice weekend. Mickie :)
how beautiful! i just saw one out my window here in ne tx this morning that was VERY yellow, too. we've got them hanging here much longer this winter/spring. usually we see their drab traveling khakis only. :)
Wow thats a great shot! Its tough to focus with such shallow depth of field. And thanks for letting me know about your page of link ups, I linked up to a few of them!

he is beautiful and i hope he is the harbinger of spring for all of you in snow country
Me too! I bought some new clothes yesterday, now I want to wear them!
I like how minimalistic it is, yet very effective. I think it's because of the yellow feathers, against the beige background. Wonderful!

Loving that pop of colour. It really does put you in the mood for spring.
