The leftovers are in the refrigerator.
The dishes are all clean and put away.
Things are put back where they belong.
That means, it is time to relax
and enjoy the memories
of
laughter,
delicious food,
soccer,
conversations,
and ....
praying that the hit
soccer boy took to his mouth
doesn't send us back to the oral surgeon.
The O.S. already has enough of our money
from those teeth!
Yes, he has a mouthguard.
An expensive one too.
No, he doesn't wear it.
He is a teenage boy after all.
Now back to that cup of tea...

sounds like a fun day other than the ball to the mouth part. love the photo but then when have you posted one i don't love... NEVER....
What a wonderful family day. I always joke that Mallory has a $10,000 mouth. The sad thing is that isn't a joke. Between the Ortho and the Oral Surgeon and the two fake teeth she has. In reality it is probably the $12,000 mouth.
So glad you had a lovely Easter - hope his teeth are ok!!!
I love knowing there are leftovers in the fridge! Such a comfort and helps with that rest. Hoping the boy's teeth are spared!
Sounds like you had a great Easter, except for the soccer injury. Hope he doesn't need surgery. The picture is very relaxing!
Rebecca, thankyou for your sweet comment on my Easter blog post. I hope your fella is feeling better. I have three sons and sometimes it's like war zone here....lol! Your blog is beautiful and your photography, sublime....Mimi...xxx
They eventually do learn. Don't they?
Hope he's ok. Hugs xx
