I love when living history is authentic.
When I don't see plastic tubs and cans of cola lying about
and when the tools of the trade were the tools of the trade.
I like to imagine what is was really like all those years ago...
without a dishwasher, refrigerator, washer and dryer.
And then I am thankful I have those modern things...
and I am only left to imagine what life was like without them.
It is hard enough for me to lose electricity for a few hours!

Beautiful composition and color in both the shot of the chicken and the pail hanging on the S hook. All your photos are wonderful but those two are by far my favorites.
