I said Yes to Kathy
at You'll Shoot Your Eye Out
to continuing the Virtual Blog Tour.
However, I did not realize my date
coincided with Memorial Day in the US.
So, today you get a combination post.
Whenever else would I get to use all these war images?

Virtual Blog Tour Question 1: What am I working on?
*Recreating married teacher-daughter's room into a guest room.
It's a place I will use my new favorite color: Canning Jar Blue.
*Getting gardens ready for summer.
I wish I would use garden gloves
to preserve mydelicate hands,
but I always pull them off and
have dirty nails afterwards.
*Cleaning images off the computer -
an endless task
like the song that never ends.
and with appreciation
of those who fought
for our country.

Virtual Blog Tour Question 2:
How does my work differ from other's of it's genre?
If I could concisely define my genre,
I might be able to give you an answer.
And therein lies my problem.
I'm undefined.
But that's who I am.
You never know what you'll get
and neither do I.

Virtual Blog Tour Question 3.
Why do I write/create what I do?
A response to my environment:
Something moves me, humors me, touches me, interests me.
My heart pitter-patters and
it drives me to pick up the camera in the moment.

Virtual Blog Tour Question 4.
How does your writing/creativity process work?
"How do you catch a cloud and pin it down?"
It's spontaneous.

Any way,
about me?
Well, I am 33.
I love my kid SO much.
It is sort of ridiculous.
I actually love all children.
I think they are magical.
I have green eyes.
I am fat.
Always have been.
I have a GREAT husband.
My family is amazing.
I love taking pictures.
It makes my heart sing.
I think living inspired is the best way to live.
Life is short.
I believe in Jesus.
Becky is sweet, kind, thoughtful, helpful...beautiful.

They do Civil War reenactments locally - I am inspired to get back out there and capture some pictures. These are great images and perfect for Memorial Day.
Sorry about that, I didn't realize it would be Memorial Day for you...BUT...your photography never disappoints. Love that shot of the boots sticking out of the tent.
These are stellar! Love this tribute. I'm loving watching the blog tour continue and seeing the thread of connection between us all. Its really amazing.
A really great way to mark the occasion, and I love that you chose black and white for these. So great!
Oh, WOW! The pictures are so awesome. They look authentic. What a great job the actors did. I love that you were able to capture these moments. I am so sorry that I didn't tell you about myself. Thank you for using that summary on my About Me page. I will try to put something special together for all of your friends next week : ). Wishing you a beautiful day.
Awesome, awesome shots! Maybe we can start the undefined genre, or the random genre, because I am in that same boat and always will be. Life would be too boring to me to shoot the same thing all the time.
Love the reenactment guys wonderful faces and timeless in black and white...And random is good always....
Those photos are amazing. You'd never know it was a reenactment if you hadn't told us.
