There's Lots of Blue and White Celebrating Goin' On

Penn State University

It's a long story especially if you are not from the USA.
To make a long story short...
Penn State Football
Horrendous Crime
Cover Up
Unprecedented Sanctions
Innocent student athletes bear the brunt.
112  football wins revoked.
409 record breaking wins earned by the long time
(now deceased) coach were reduced.
For the full story, you can google it.

The celebration?
The wins were restored.
TODAY!
Common sense has prevailed after all.

Penn State Blue Band

I didn't have a blue post for the
Friday Shoot Out post
but now I do.
I just grabbed some random photos
I already had online.

Beaver Stadium

Fans and alumni celebrate.
{My family named our dog after the PSU mascot.
So yes, we are fans,
alumni
adopted alumni,
and a future alum!}

However, we do not forget those who suffered.
They are in our thoughts and prayers.
May those responsible for the crime
and the cover up
be appropriately punished.
May those who suffered
be healed.

Blue and White -
those are the school colors.

So glad that the team is no longer punished by one man's horrible, horrible actions!

Penn State became one of my favorite teams when one of my seniors was recruited to play football in 2003. While a loyal U of M fan, I watch Pen State football whenever it's on. Photo of Beaver stadium is a great shot! makes me feel as though I am sitting next to you.

I thought the NCAA way overstepped it's bounds and I'm glad this has been addressed.
