All I need is the air that I breathe
and to love you.
Forget the love part,
I struggle with the breathe part.
I think breathing is seriously underrated by those in love.
Cue up that scene from
Sleepless in Seattle
where Annie Reed
helps Walter take his
daily dose of meds at bedtime.
Sadly...Walter would be me.

Sleepless in Seattle |
Last week I had one of my weekly allergy shots.
All seemed well until my drive home
when my eyes started itching.
That's nothing new -
but then they started swelling.
More Pollen |
I came home and took some Benadryl.
My husband saw me fumbling with the meds,
looked at me, and said -
I am taking you back to the allergist.
By the time we got back - 10 mins -
my eyes were swollen shut.
My husband is so sweet.
After taking me to the allergist for my first ever Epinephrine shot,
he brought meflowers more pollen.
I know it's the thought that counts...
I just wish I knew what that thought was.

Oh no - hope you're ok!
I'm fully recovered now, thank you!
Ohhh...my husband starts sneezing in March and prays for rain a lot to dampen the pollen. Hope you feel better.
OMW i have allegires to pollen and they drive me crazy, but mine is controlled with a Zyrteck.. i am so glad you are ok, that had to be scary for both of you. ha ha on what the thought WAS... once i had the E shot, my face was so swollen and my throat closed up.. ER gave it to me. i am allergic to all things bug spray. had no idea. I sprayed the kitchen floor because the 9 puppies i brought inside got fleas in the kitchen. sprayed with Strike and the next puppy i kissed my lips were so big i could not talk.. the Strike Struck and now i know to stay away from bug spray. you can't stay away from pollen though. be glad you are not here, the pool is solid yellow from it
Honestly, I'm laughing WITH you, really, I am. I can see how you might be questioning his motivation. I'm glad you are OK.
Can't help it...I had to laugh at the end. Allergies hit me in the Fall, but I certainly can understand your struggles. Hope the shot helps and you are feeling no more from the allergy battles. Lovely flowers though!
Oh Dear! Poor you but you do have a loving )nearly) thoughtul husband. he just need to bring you the right type of flowers the next time.
Oh, sorry Rebecca! Within 10 min. - that's serious! Am admiring you for seeing the funny side of it. From now on I'll say a little prayer when I see a flower shot from you. I'm one of those optimists that I believe for any allergy/disease is a solution. Have a better week:):)
The oak gets to me, and this time of year is a killer!
Beautiful image!
Oh goodness! Feel better, soon. Lovely photo of your flowers.
Poor you, poor husband, his intentions were good.
I do hope you are feeling better quickly, I only have mild sinus problems and can't imagine them being worse. But, your hubby is so sweet, even with man-thinking! It truly is the thought that counts :)
Oh dear, I had to smile when you were gifted with more pollen. I do hope you are coming right now.

Oh my an allergic reaction is not fun. - I get allergy shots (for my cats) but I rarely have any problems with them. - I think it was sweet of your hubby to get you the flowers but I'm sure the extra pollen didn't help. Your photos of the flowers are just lovely.
Very pretty flowers but a shame about your allergies, it would make some seasons so hard to cope with.
The flowers are so beautiful, I'm sorry that they caused your allergies to flare so intensely. Thanks so much for sharing the love up-close with I Heart Macro ♥
*chuckling* ;)
