Abandoned Railroad Trestle Bridge, Downingtown, PA |
I guess love does have its limits after all.
Trail to the Trestle Bridge, Downingtown, PA |
Before I go on a photography adventure,
my husband's parting comment is typically,
"Don't Call Me to Bail You Out."
And I think, "That's what my photo friends are for."

*Please note:
I did not walk onto this bridge and neither should you.
The bridge is falling onto the highway below -
and sadly, someone fell to their death there.
Be smart.

Hee, hee. I can't resist.
I love stuff like this. You might want to wear sneakers next time, just sayn'.
That is some seriously colorful graffiti.
I'll bail you out anytime! Fantastic pictures as always :)

What an adventure! The graffiti is awesome!
Well, after i saw what you do to get a good pic, I understand your hubby's saying! Guess I'm waaay less adventurous and just hand the camera to hubby "Here, yo take it!"
Thanks for your comment about the tea cup, but ... you forgot to leave your photo for SEASONS! Hope you read this before 7pm Pacific time today (Wed.) - hope to see you there -many thanks in advance!
When I saw your title, I knew exactly what you were going to say. HaHa! I've been known to do a little trespassing to get a shot. So far, no jail time. Just be careful out there.
Ha ha - cute eyewitness photos and worth the effort for that great shot! Always good to have an accomplice :)
Very cool!

The intrepid photographer - what we will do for the shots we want :)

Well I just can't imagine why he'd need to "Bail You Out" - but the never of him saying he wouldn't!
Well done as the shot of the abandoned bridge was very cool. Also the graffiti wall you climbed over. Thanks to your "eye witness" for those photos.
Your husband and mine should get together while we go explore! I loved seeing the photos of you, great documentation.
Wonderful shots from the backroads (and unmarked paths). The bridge looks really interesting and the fact that it's sinking makes it even more intriguing.

The things we do for that 'perfect' shot! Nicely done.
Hi there! Great blog! I live in Downingtown and need graffiti for a shoot, can you tell me where the trail to this starts off? Thank you in advance! Nina Cazille
Here is what I remember. From the bridge, we went up Bradford Ave. At a stop sign we could see the stone RR Bridge to the left. We went under it and parked at an abandoned house on the left. Across the street was a driveway and house to the left, we took the driveway to the right and climbed over rocks to the trail. It is not an official trail entrance and we were probably trespassing but there were no signs.
I believe there is also graffiti off of either Old Trolley Road.
You're a gem! Thank you so much for sharing!!
