It is raining out my window today.
So I am remembering a little sunshine.

A few weeks ago we visited my daughter
who lives in San Diego.

My son was home from college for Spring Break
so he came along too.

We spent one day driving along the coast
between San Diego and Oceanside to the north.

We wanted to hit the Carlsbad Flower Fields,
but sadly...nothing was blooming yet.
I bet the are gorgeous right now.

and lots of beach activity.

If I turn around now
there is thunder, lightening, and rain...
lots of rain.
And next to me is a quivering little dog.

amazing spectacular views and water. all those diamonds sparkling in the sun, makes me happy just seeing the photos of it. I bet the fresh smell of salt water was great to.
