The Black Skimmer

I was fascinated with these birds on the beach... 

so much so that I filled an 8gb card in less than an hour!
I am not referring to the seagulls in the background,
rather the Black Skimmer in the foreground. 

They kind of remind me of something you
would see in a Dr. Seuss book.



But they are for real!



It is a good thing that at the last moment I
grabbed that extra camera card!
