People Watching in the Park

Beautiful days bring people outside,
and I was outside too.
I took these photos earlier in the spring
and just got around to them now.

He was very nice and posed for me.

Not Everyone Gets to Rest

I gave him my Coke...
which I always carry in case I get a migraine.

Not sure what they were doing...
but it looked interesting.

The Musician Plays for a Buck
(or in my case allows a photo for a buck.)

Soooo....
At which point did you know
these were not real people?
 They are all sculptures
at Grounds for Sculpture
in Hamilton, NJ.

And being there plays tricks with your mind.
You never knew when you were
looking at a sculpture or a live person...
unless they happen to move.

I highly recommend a visit.
And make it soon,
unless they extend this show
a lot of these sculptures will be going elsewhere.

PS. I'm a bit behind in visiting blogs.
With all the end of year activities for my son,
who will be graduating in one week,
I haven't had much time to visit.
But next week I should be able to
get back into the swing of things.

Amazing likenesses. I thought a few of them looked like they came from a different era by their dress but it wasn't a strong enough hint to give away the surprise!

Ha, I thought the gardener lighting his pipe was real and then I started to wonder if the others were manniquins you had posed for the photo shoot. LOL Good one!

I thought the gardener was a statue from the beginning, like who wears turquoise pants? Many of the others are scary real.

Hi Rebecca, I'm visiting from Mersad's blog, and I'm glad I did. I've spent some time here, and love your photography. I'm following you and will be back to visit again soon. Hope you'll visit me as well. Love this post. I figured it out on the first image, but not until I did a real double take on his face. P.S. I also keep a coke handy for migraines!!
